Tea & Tarot Festival
WHAT: Tea and Tarot- This event is to explore the inner “W.I.T.C.H” (With Intent To Create & Heal).
In ancient times, the “witches” were well known in the community as: the healers, the wise ones, the counsel, the midwives, the dreamers, the seers, the herbalist, the artist who expressed themselves through dance, visual, voice. Unfortunately this practice has become judged greatly by society through television programming, indoctrination, misinformation, dogmatic views and harsh misunderstood criticism. These wise women known as witches, made house calls, delivered babies, dealt with infertility, and cured impotence and this "Strange healing work" came to be know as "witchcraft." What’s interesting about them is that they were very powerful and positive figures in society. No king could be without their counsel, no army could recover from a defeat without their ritual activity, no baby could be born without their presence. We want to invite you to come and celebrate your MAGIC within! Join Harambee House of Wellness for Tea and Tarot!!!
